I’m a journalist and media researcher based in London, UK.
After graduating in Journalism and in Information Science, I worked for many years as a correspondent for US news outlets, and this took me to live in many places of South & Central America, Europe, and in the Middle East.
I am a doctoral researcher in Sociology at City University London. My current research focuses on Brazil’s alternative media and its potential to boost narratives of inequality. I completed my Master of Arts in Media and Communications at City, on which I wrote a dissertation about the British Press and its prioritisation of FIFA during the coverage of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
I also edit the online archive Reading the Periphery.org, and write about art.
